**The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service for free.** Pre-mommy days I modeled for a living. Contrary to popular belief, Photoshop has aways intimidated me & I didn't know how to use the program myself. Yes my professional photos were photoshopped to the max, I would be pretty mad if they weren't lol... Who doesn't want a flawless photo in a magazine? But I was a model & yes I am also pretty in real life haters & I also know what makeup is & how to use the same filters every other girl plays with on there phones, so my personal photos are just as real as yours ;-) I always felt that photoshop was a program only suitable for the professional photographers I worked with. It just looked really hard to use & there was no reason for me to have to make cover photos out of my phone snapshots! Long boring story short... Boy was I was SO wrong! When Best Buy contacted me about doing a review for the new Adobe Photoshop Elements or the new Adobe Photoshop coming out this month, I decided to admit my shortcomings and take a look at what Adobe considers a more casual/beginner editing program, that being Elements. Is it really for beginners? Yes, there’s a learning curve, and yes, it will take some time to master all the fabulous features and tools, but Adobe PhotoShop Elements has now made it that even a casual picture-taker or those just getting started can easily organize, edit, and share their photos and videos. My blog is going to be looking pretty sweet thanks to this program!!! Let me show you how awesome the new Adobe Photoshop Elements really is! Goodbye flawed, hello phenomenal Whiten teeth or make skies a vibrant blue in one step. Make unwanted stuff vanish with one brush stroke, and get intelligent tone corrections with a tool that remembers the looks you like. Move things like magic Move objects in a photo — the background just fills in. Mix things up to create all-new scenes Photo remixes and mashups are easy with Photomerge Compose. Pull something out of one photo, pop it into another, and the color and lighting blend for a realistic-looking scene. Great crops for great compositions The perfect composition is the one you like best. Elements suggests four different options — you just pick your favorite. Photo tilted? Fix it fast. Straightening’s a snap — edges fill in like magic. ENHANCED Find by places Relive your journeys – view photos and videos on a map based on where they were taken. Stand out from the crowd on Facebook Put a cool twist on your Facebook page by blending your profile and cover photos in ways your friends won’t just Like, they’ll love.* Share the love Share photos on Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and Twitter. Package your discs in style Use photos, text and themed graphics to create great-looking customized jackets and labels for your CDs and DVDs. See your photos in all their glory Support for High DPI on Windows and Retina Display on Mac means you always see your photos full res — no compromises. Get inspired with Elements Live Find great creative ideas, tips, tricks, and help right at your fingertips, right inside Elements. NEW Bye-bye, camera shake Your selfies’ best friend! Just click to remove the camera shake that comes from unsteady hands. NEW Never a hazy day Easily remove haze to make the background as crisp as what’s up front. Great for landscape shots. ENHANCED Selecting hair is a snap Selecting hair, pet fur and other fine details used to be a chore. No more! Just paint loosely over the area and Elements does the rest. ENHANCED Find by people Photoshop Elements recognizes the faces in your photos and stacks them by person during import, so it’s easy to find photos of specific people later. like what you see?!?! Great news! You can head over to Best Buy online by clicking the link below and purchase this fabulousness from them today!

I have PhotoShop and Lightroom, love Lightroom, but I don't get PhotoShot at all. I really need the new one that will be released soon. Maybe I can actually use it once I get the hang of it. Looks amazing!

I don't use elements - but I do use Regular (it is called that - I don't even know) PS - and I love it. It took awhile to get used to it after a long time user of LR - but now I won't use anything else

I haven't used Photoshop before, as it sounds and looks really intimidating, but reading your post it actually seems something I might be able to do. Have to check out Adobe PhotoShop Elements as soon as possible.

I saw the backgrounds scene with the kids' photos for school this year and thought that was cool. I'd love to be able to do it at home myself!

I absolutely love Photoshop and Lightroom. They're necessary for my blog posts and editing pictures. Straightening is my favorite, because one picture of every set always has to be corrected!

Photoshop always scared me too! This looks pretty easy though. Do you use Windows or Mac? I've been using my Windows a lot more and know that software like this usually runs better on a Mac.

I own Photoshop on my computer but I NEVER use it because it's so difficult to understand. I might have to try out their elements since it seems so much easier to use.

WOW. I had no idea this was such an easy to use program. I've seen older versions with large text book type instructions and have always been intimidated. I figured you needed a degree or something to use the program. I'm thrilled to hear it is something I could use. I can't wait to try it out.
