This post was sponsored by Splenda Naturals as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own. Ahhhhh hello January 2019!!!!! That time of year your social feeds are filled with “New Year, New Me” posts!!! I totally agree that the beginning of the year is a fabulous time to make a fresh start. I just love the idea of having a clean slate and checking out all the kick butt ways my fellow boss babes plan to tackle the new year!!!! Such an inspirational time scroll the internet! If you have been following my crazy adventures here on The Trophy WifeStyle for awhile, you know diets are not my thing!! Diets have too many restrictions. Anything in life where you make a long list of no-no’s, usually ends up leading to rebellion and eventually failure. I love food & know from experience that the best way to kick those weightloss and health goals is to make simple lifestyle changes not take your favorite foods away. Back in June, 2018, I went on a quest to lose the extra fluff that snuck up on me. I was heading back to Orlando to visit my old hometown and chill with my besties. I wanted to look fab & the fact that my clothes were feeling snug had me feeling everything but! By making two simple lifestyle swaps, I managed to lose that fluff in no time AND lost a few extra lbs!! I came back from that trip with such a self esteem boost due to complements galore!!!! Since I had such great success & my body is looking better than ever, I decided to kick things up a notch in 2019 by make one more simple lifestyle swap! Keep on reading to find out my 3 Swaps For A Healthier New Year! Lifestyle Swap 1 “Enjoy responsibly” ~ It’s no secret that I love my drinks!!!! Once the weekend hits and I clock out for the week, my favorite way to celebrate my weekly wins is to kick back with a cold one in my hand!!! Unfortunately, not paying attention to what you drink can derail all of that hard work you put into your health and fitness goals all week!! Those empty calories unfortunately add up and leave you back at square one once Monday hits. By taking one peak at my Instagram, you already know what my first lifestyle swap happened to be! All those glasses of wine morphed into bottles of Michelob ULTRA & recently Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold! With only 2.5 carbs and 85 calories, Pure Gold is triple filtered and brewed free of artificial colors and flavors!!! It was an obvious lifestyle swap must & it worked! It worked so well that I have actually converted many to the Michelob ULTRA family!!! My friends and family couldn’t get over the fact that I was looking fab, still heading to Walmart to do my weekly grocery shopping AND had a case of beer in my cart! The best part of all?? Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold is a light lager with a superior golden taste!! I didn’t give up great taste for a lighter drink option! Lifestyle Swap 2I cut out soda and joined the tea team! It was one of the biggest lifestyle swaps I ever made. I like my tea on the sweet side & sugar equaled calories. I often found myself questioning the lifestyle swap. I know soda is awful for you, but I felt like I was still drinking my daily calories. Was soda really that bad since I was drinking the same amount of calories? Then I discovered Splenda Naturals which can be purchased at your local Walmart!! I was able to experience the joy of sugar in my daily cup of tea without all the calories! Honestly, using Splenda Naturals only enhanced the flavor! Never heard of Splenda Naturals?!? Splenda Naturals Stevia is a great tasting 100% natural stevia product!! • 100% Natural • Great Tasting – Best Tasting Stevia • No Aftertaste •Nothing Artificial • Zero Calories A healthier lifestyle has never tasted so sweet. Love the fact I was able to cut my calories with this simple Lifestyle Swap!!! Lifestyle Swap 3I had great success with my first two lifestyle swaps, that I decided to kick it up a notch in 2019! This time I was all about finding natural lifestyle swaps for energy!!! Being a work at home mama with an empire to build, I need all the energy I can get!!! So when I discovered Optimum Nutrition and their variety of delicious products at Walmart, I knew these swaps could easily be a reality!!! Amino Energy was the one product I was stoked to try!!! Being a creative person, I feel like I get my best ideas late at night, which makes for sleepy mornings. Zero time to nap when that empire needs built, so I love that I can use Amino Energy as a pick me up- any time of day!! Caffeine from natural sources for energy and focus support!!! I also loved the fact that this product didn’t require mixing into a milk related product. I have a weird milk phobia, so I loved how this is an easy to mix powder with refreshing fruit flavors that you simply mix into COLD WATER and enjoy! That’s right, water!!! Plus, each serving is only 5 calories with 0 grams of sugar!!! WooHoo!!! We all know that gyms are not my thing. Too people-y and everyone wants to chat. I’m a girl filled with social anxiety, so mall walking solo is more my thing! To put my mall walking workouts into high gear in 2019, I figured trying two new sources of protein would be ideal!!! I’m already doing the walking, mind as well get as much out of it as possible and I’m told adding protein is the way to do it! I was instantly drawn to Gold Standard Whey! 24g of protein- whey protein isolate is the primary source- so much of the carbs and fat are isolated out or removed!!! Plus, just like Amino Energy, Gold Standard Whey is delicious and you can mix with cold water or your favorite beverage!! Another water win for us shake haters!!!! And at only 120 calories, 1.5g Fat (or less), 2g Sugar (or less), this Gluten Free option is not only a win for me, but a win for all!!! Not thirsty? Protein Crisp are a delicious source of protein to snack on! These unique, high protein bars have a delicious, crispy texture & provides 20g of protein per bar! Sweeps Alert!!! These all sound like great swaps for a healthy year! I don't drink much alcohol, except maybe one drink a month or so, and I stopped drinking soda in college. Those two made such a difference for me. I'll have to try the Protein Crisps. I am always on the go with my two young boys so could use the energy boost.

I'm Team Splenda all the way. I have a crazy sweet tooth and I cant imagine what my health would be like if I hadn't made that switch years ago.

Oh, I rarely drink soda (never full-sugar soda, and I am trying to wean myself off my lunch-time-diet-Coke-every-other-day, down from every day). You are so right about all the empty calories in alcohol, and how easy it can be to lose track of how much we're consuming in that department!

Sounds like great swap ideas! I luckily have never liked soda, so that's one swap I don't ever have to make, haha!

These sound like good swaps. I must have sensitive taste buds because I can always pick Splenda out. My father used it though so we do have it in the house. Maybe I will give it another try!
