How many of you color your hair? How many of you spend your Summer's poolside? This combo might sound pretty fab, but let me tell you, it does a number on your locks! I don't care how trained your stylist is or what not-so-harsh chemicals you dump in your pool, your hair will start to feel the elements after awhile.
In this post I'm here as a total brand whore to tell
you that you DO NOT have to shell out serious cash at your salon to get your hair feeling silky smooth again! Deep conditioners are probably one of the few things in life that I will admit, sometimes the cheapest product on the shelf will leave your hair looking 10 times more fab than that ridiculously overpriced bottle sitting at your favorite salon! So next time you're running low on conditioning goods, save your cash for that new lipstick you have been eyeing and try one of these budget friendly conditioning products instead!
Nexxus Masque Caviar Complex
Kinda on the pricey side for a drug store deep conditioner, but it's my all-time favorite!!!! If you ever see it on sale, totally stock up because your hair will be feeling like silk after your very first use!
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle
I don't think there is a blonde out there that hasn't gone through a 3 Minute Miracle phase! I was first introduced to this product when I was modeling & have been a fan ever since! Leave this stuff on your head long enough & it's comparable to the Nexxus. If you're a Walmart shopper you can usually find this stuff on sale ALL THE TIME!!! Worth picking up and trying no matter what color hair you have. I promise the frizz will disappear.
Pantene 3 Minute Miracle
I'm guessing since Aussie's 3 minute was a total success, Pantene had to make a copy cat! Because that's exactly what this is. The conditioner works exactly like the Aussie. Leaves your locks silky smooth if kept on long enough. Pantene is known for their buy one get one deals, so that's about the only time I choose Pantene over Aussie since it is just a copy cat after all.
Generic Conditioning Balm
I will start out by saying omg the name SUCKS!!! But if you can get past the bottle being exactly that, generic, the product that is inside is pretty fab. My go to shampoo & conditioner when I was in high school was Biolage so being able to score a copy cat for under $8 at Sally's Beauty is just killer.
I saved the shocker for last!!! This isn't exactly drug store since you buy it at the Dollar Tree, but since it's only $1 it deserves a shoutout! You read that correctly, a deep conditioner from the Dollar Tree actually works. And not only does it work, it now earns the #2 spot on my favorites list. I just discovered this stuff back in June when a friend saw my Nexxus sponsored post & was like girl, go to Dollar Tree, they have a copy cat! I hesitated on the purchase at first, but eventually did make it and bam. Love at first use. If you were to go in my shower right now, you would see a tub of Salon Selectives right next to my Nexxus! I alternate every other use since the Nexxus is pretty pricey. So next time you're at Dollar Tree, just bite your tongue and buy it. You won't regret it & your hair will be feeling softer than ever!

My dry, colored hair needs all the help it can get when it comes to conditioning. I haven't used Aussie 3-minute miracle in years, but I remember how much I love that stuff. I also need to try the Nexxus hair mask. I've always loved Nexxus products.

Totally Love many of the brands you mentioned for drugstore conditioners for damaged hair. My favorite has to be Aussie, it smells grapey. it is just a great scent to inhale .. all day long. Is that ok to say. Lol

These couldn't have came at a better time. I have an appointment on Friday to get my hair colored and need some extra TLC to use on it thanks to summer days spent outdoors in the sun and pool.
8/24/2016 05:33:12 pm
Luckily, my hair isn't damaged so I haven't needed any of these treatments. I do use hair mask once a week or so to protect my hair and keep it healthy.
8/24/2016 06:03:36 pm
I haven't tried all of these but I'd like to. I use Pantene usually and Biolage and love them so much.

L'oreal Damage Erasing Balm for $5 is the best drugstore deep conditioner I have EVER used. It will change your life.
8/25/2016 10:03:44 am
I love the idea of using a mask! I think my Mom hair needs some of these. I also read that changes products is good for your hair.
The Salon Selectives conditioner is amazing! I bought it on a whim once and I was SO IMPRESSED! Thank you for reminding me about that one! I have not used the 3-minute miracle yet but I just went back to blonde so I'll be tossing it in my buggy next shopping trip!

8/26/2016 07:56:46 am
My favorite brand is not listed here. I think my brand is the most popular here in the Philippines.
8/26/2016 09:08:17 am
Normally I use what the salon sells to try and keep my rich colour as long as possible.
8/26/2016 01:01:03 pm
I should probably be using one of these since I color my hair and use a flat iron. Im adding the Aussie to my shopping list.
Honestly I don't depend on such conditioners as I always prefer natural beauty products which are homemade. But these are some great brands and wonderful choice to help someone with damaged hair and to me Pantene has been the best I have heard from friends around!
