My family received free Sesame Place tickets, however, we paid for the Abby’s Magic Queue upgrade ourselves. As usual, all options, thoughts, stories & typos, 100% my own. As most of you know, my family and I had the chance to visit Sesame Place over Labor Day weekend! It was one heck of a trip that’s for sure. I had a blast showing my daughter my old childhood stomping grounds! It’s crazy how much Sesame Place has grown over the years. The last time I was strolling the parks, Sesame Place was a water park. Now it’s home to not only water slide, but amusement rides, even roller coasters! Abby’s Magic QueueOne of the coolest things I spotted on the Sesame Place website under “Upgrades” when planning our trip was Abby’s Magic Queue! What is Abby’s Magic Queue? Abby’s Magic Queue simply makes the lines disappear with an additional ticket upgrade costing anywhere between $15-$34 depending on what day you visit! With Abby’s Magic Queue, you can skip the regular lines and enjoy priority boarding one time per ride! This awesomeness even includes the newest roller coaster, Oscar’s Wacky Taxi! Sounds sweet doesn’t it? Worth It?One of the questions people have been asking me over and over has been is Abby’s Magic Queue worth it? My honest opinion is it depends on what day and time you decide to visit Sesame Place. Are you planning a trip on a holiday? Is it a weekend? A weekday? This really does matter when considering the Abby’s Magic Queue splurge. We made our Sesame Place trip Labor Day weekend and boy did that park fill up quickly! My family and I received free Sesame Place park tickets, but paid for Abby’s Magic Queue out of our own pockets and we were so thankful for making that decision. The park opened at 10am and by noon, Sesame Place was jam packed with kiddos wanting to spend the day with their favorite Sesame Street Characters! Abby’s Magic Queue was a total blessing for us! We were able to experience every single ride and go down every water slide in one visit AND on a peak day/holiday. Now, if you’re planning on making a Sesame Place visit on a non-peak day, or maybe you are just wanting to make a morning trip, I would definitely hold off on Abby’s Magic Queue. Even during Labor Day weekend, Sesame Place didn’t get crowded until around noon, so lines weren’t that bad in the morning. So my answers. Holiday - Yes Special Event - Yes Summer Weekend - Yes Spring - No Fall - No Weekday - If Abby’s Magic Queue is $34 on the Sesame Place Website YES! If it’s $15 NO!
