AmiClubwear, Texas De Brazil & An Anniversary

This past Friday was hubby & I's anniversary and of course we had to do it instyle :):) This might seem like a typical evening to most of you living in bigger cities, but for us, we had to drive about an hour and a half out of Amish country to enjoy such things! If you would of told me 5 years ago when I was living in Orlando that this would be considered a "special night", I probably would of laughed. This is a typical dinner in a bigger city. Now that I live amillion miles from any decent restaurant or even decent shopping mall omg.... The things I took for granite when living in a bigger area..... I miss my fashion and food being minutes away!

We decided to go to the restaurant Texas De Brazil since hubby had never been! If you have never been, It is a must! They have them all over the country (Click Here For Locations) and OMG!!!!! If you're a meat eater, you will be in heaven since they literally bring you nonstop steak, lamb, chicken & sausage right to your table. They even have a salad bar with over 50 items on it & even a section with cheese. I'm a cheese lover so I had to mention the cheese ;-)

I use to be scared to death of lamb, but my Brazilian bestie got me to try it afew years back & I have been hooked ever since. This was the first time since eating lamb that I had been back to Texas De Brazil & boy was I missing out before! If I were to recommend one meat out of them all, the Leg of Lamb was probably the tastiest thing I had that evening. Yum!

O and did I mention that my princess joined us as well? We never have baby sitters.... EVER, not even for special occasions, so she got to go to mommy and daddy's anniversary dinner.

As most of you know from previous post, my daughter refuses to eat meat. I have a 3 year old vegetarian. Literally. She was pretty excited when she realized that all she had to do was flip the circle to the green side to get the servers to bring another meat option for us to eat, so we were really hoping that this would be the motivation she needed to actually eat meat.

And of course not. She just wanted to keep asking for more and not eat it. Typical threenager.... Thankfully hubby and I loved everything, so when she would ask for something, we would just eat it so it didn't go to waste lol.

I was also soooo very lucky for AmiClubwear to send me this beyond fabulous dress to rock for my special outing!!! Teal, or what I like to call "Tiffany" is my favorite color, so the dress was a perfect pick! I seriously got nonstop complements all night, which honestly I was kinda shocked about since the dress is more on the simple side. I guess simple is in these days since I couldn't walk 5 feet without someone loving on the dress.

I just wish the lighting would of been a tad bit better since I was feeling pretty fabulous, but you wouldn't be able to tell by the pictures above :-/ I tried to lighten the photo, but as you can see it turned me orange, but it did make the dress look great....so I posted a picture of the unedited, since I look great, and then the edited, since the dress looks great ;-)

And I just had to take a picture of the flowers over the salad bar!!! People probably thought I was crazy for taking such a picture because how does such a thing, but the flowers were so pretty! I just had to snap a photo so I could share the prettiness with y'all.

Over all it was a pretty great night!!! Definitely made me miss living in a bigger area since the country life is soooo not for me! Hopefully one day I will be back near my fabulous restaurants and malls, but until then I guess little day trips like this will have to do.
