I soooo wasn't going to blog this since it's a beyond simple idea, but Pinterest, for the first time ever, totally disappointed me!
My princess is My Little Pony obsessed, so we really wanted to craft up a pony valentine! Usually when I go onto Pinterest to search ANYTHING, I get 5272891 search results, which usually overwhelm me. Not this time though :( Pony Valentine ideas were lacking! Shame shame bloggers ;-)
So I decided to post this and add it to Pinterest to prevent anyone else from going threw a pony valentines day crisis due to the lack of pony ideas lol.... If someone ever needs a pony valentine idea, well they can steal this one hehehe ;-)
The only snacks I could match with a pony were Apple Jacks cereal & applesauce to Apple Jack, so we took the applesauce route. If you can match a pony to a food please share!! My hubby & I literally spend what felt like 682902 years trying to brainstorm ideas & couldn't come up with anything that a kiddo could hand out at a school....
All you have to do is find a box of pony valentines with Applejack included. I found these at Walmart for like two something a box!
punch a hole in the left corner
and tie the valentine to the applesauce with a piece of ribbon!

That is such a cute idea. And you just reminded me that I need to get valentines for my little guy to hand out on Friday at school. No food, though - our kids aren't allowed to exchange food because of allergies.

What a cute idea for Valentine's Day! Speaking of My Little Pony, my daughter got a ton for her birthday but she sitll isn't interested in them! ;-(
That's such a great idea. I don't typically spend that much on valentines BUT if you find these at Costco then they're super cheap. On top of that though, the extra investment is worth not giving/getting sugar filled garbage and it's often loose candy. I'm not sure how other parents feel about that but we just throw it out- not sure where it's been, you know? :/

I obsessively loved My Little Pony as a child. Now my daughters are into the new MLP...they are like teens or pre-teens who go from cartoon horse, to half horse half human. Its cute.
