Ahhhh another weekend gone :( Honestly since I'm a WAHM it's not very often I can tell the difference between a weekday or a weekend. My days kinda just blend all together since my work load is never ending. Only flaw to having your office in your very own home, you truly believe you can get caught up! Joke is totally on us WAHM's though because there is no end to that workload tunnel. This weekend however actually felt like a weekend! WooHoo!!! Living in an obnoxiously small area, we very rarely get coolish things to do! I will say some local places really are trying to bring cool to this area, but still ughhhhh!!!! Swear small town folks just don't want it. They complain that we have nothing to do & then don't support the local businesses that actually do try to deliver the cool. Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Toronto are all a few hours away, so if we really want to seek out some fun, we could always drive to it. This weekend however was an artsy one. Jamestown, yes, Jamestown not only had a Cirque show come to us!!! Yes a real Cirque show here( & of course we went)! One of the local high schools did a pretty awesome fundraiser as well. Which obviously my princess and I had to go to! Lunch With Ariel! For an event put on by high school kids, I was rather impressed!!! I lived in Orlando for more years than I can remember, so character anything is what I know! If someone could be an expert in anything, I would have to take the crown for theme park knowledge. These hard working kids totally nailed a character lunch! Just look at these sandwiches to start?!?! They were so cute you almost didn't want to eat them! And this fountain!!!! Omg!!!! I'm totally saving this simple, yet cool party idea for a future birthday party prop for my daughter. I'm sure there will be a year she wants mermaids or princesses & this fountain would be a total hit! Not a single detail was skipped! They even had coloring pages for the kiddos to doodle on while waiting for our food! When I was in high school I know I would of never thought of adding such a touch! So two thumbs up from this happy mama for remembering little ones need nonstop entertainment! And of course we got to meet Ariel & her WHOLE crew!!! My princess was so excited and once it was our turn for a picture, she totally got nervous. Hence the whole had in the mouth thing going on, but I guess I can't blame her. Meeting Ariel is a pretty big deal to a 3 year old. Regardless or the goofy picture, we still had tons of fun! So much fun she threw a fit when it came time to leave. She wanted to stay with Ariel for ever. As long as Ariel kept her distance from her ;-) And of course how could I go to such an event without looking extra fabulous?!?! Thanks to Make Me Chic , I was able to wear this totally awesome sparkly Sequined Sweatshirt!! Just look at those sleeves!!!!! Ahhhhhh so much fabulousness!!!! I'm on the taller side too, so yay for the sleeves actually fitting me correctly & covering my whole arm!!!!
