August Obsessions

ahhhhhh one more week until August leaves us!!! In these parts, as soon as September hits, it's officially fall Pumkin everything & the weather flips a switch to ridiculously cold. The FL girl in me is so not ready. When I lived down south I loved fall! Fall activities without the yucky rain and cold?! What's not to love? Fall outfits without having to cover them up in pretty much winter jackets is something I totally miss about the place that will always be "home" to me.

Since August is pretty much at it's end, I thought I would share the things I've been totally obsessing over this month!

TJ Maxx Fuzzy Key Chain

Let's start with my most ridiculous obsession! My fluffy, Tiffany colored key chain!!!! It's so silly that this $4 fluffiness brings so much joy to my life. I seriously smile every time I pick my keys up. My daughter even obsesses over this ball of fur and will grab my keys to pet the thing like this fluff ball is a cat or something. I guess it really is true, it's the little things in life that matter the most.

Adidas Gold Superstars

Next up are my gold adidas sneakers!!! I'm actually in shock that I love a sneaker. They look gorgeous & they are pretty comfy for a non-flip flop too. If you know me in off screen life then you know I'm a total FL gal, even while living in NY & rock flip flops/sandals until the first snow fall. I do get some pretty ridiculous looks from folks since flip flops aren't the norm in these parts like they are in FL, but I don't care. My feet like to breath & I can only hope people realize comfy is the way to go ;-)

Anastasia That Glow

This item right here makes me kinda mad at myself. I own every other Anastasia highlight kit & held off on this one since I was totally obsessed with Sunkissed. Plus That Glow kinda reminded me of the SunDipped shades so why do I need another highlight pallet that was similar to my favie? I went as long as I could not completing my collection & one afternoon caved and ended up buying it. Best purchase ever since it matches my skin tone perfectly. It was like That Glow was made for me. Totally obsessed now!!!

Holiday Valley Pool

The Holiday Valley pool is next on my list! We have two resorts near by that let you buy day passes to enjoy the hotels amenities. I know what you're thinking, why does a pool owner buy passes to other pools?!?! The answe amenities & being waited on for a change lol... For the last few years we always hit up Peak n Peak because of the mushroom kiddie pool. Now that my daughter is 4 and can swim on her own pretty darn well for a youngin, we decided to mix things up a bit and check out Holiday Valley. And omg! Let's just say Holiday Valley pool > Peak n Peak. Should of mixed things up a few years ago because I'm totally obsessed with this pool now. Best Pina Coladas in NY!!!!

Siriacha Salsa

Best.Salsa.EVER!!!! I've been a Sriracha fan before it was trendy & cool, so when I saw an ad for Sriracha Salasa I had to track it down. Most items that slap Sriracha on the label usually fall short. This right here is one of the rare foods that got the Sriracha part right. You can actually taste the Sriracha yumminess in the salsa. Like I said above BEST SALSA EVER!!!!

PokemonGo

One of Julys obsessions carried over into August. Haylie & I are still trying to Catch'em'all! We will definitely miss PokemonGo when the weather turns here in a few weeks. It's been fun discovering new places around town due to pokestops. Makes me kinda jealous of all you southern folks who get to play year round because this mama has limits & will NOT be out in a parka trying to catch a Jiggly Puff.

OPI Pinking-Of-You

Summer 2016 will officially go down in the books as the year of light pinks! Light pink makeup has been my obsession so it's no surprise that OPI Pinking-Of-You stole my heart. No matter what color I swap my nails
out for, I feel I keep coming back to Pinking-Of-You.

Mac Saint Germain

The light pink makeup obsession has been real
folks!!! Macs Saint Germain made it's way back into my lipstick rotation after sitting the bench for some time! It's crazy to me how many people never heard of Saint Germain because everywhere I go people obsess over my pink lips & ask if Saint Germain is new. No my friends, it's a classic & you totally need a tube in your collection! Pink lips totally rock.

Best Damn Cherry Cola

This my friends really is the Best Damn Cherry Cola!!! So yummy that my non-drinking hubby will even crack one open with me!!!! I know how does an alcohol lover like myself live with someone that doesn't drink?! Boggles my mind too, but hey! I always have a DD so send all
​the drink my way please & thankyou ;-) Anyway.... The yummiest beer ever and the Rootbeer is pretty delicious too!

Miley's Old Inn Chicken Wings

I'm definitely late to the party for this one! I think people forget that I really haven't been to a lot of places around these parts since I'm not originally from this area. If the place isn't plastered on social media I probably haven't been or heard of it since any adult years living in WNY have been spent taking care of a child. So bars like Miley's were never on my radar. So next time you ask me what we should do?! Unless you wanna go to someplace with an awesome marketing team, you should totally pick! Anyway... A few weeks back hubby & I had Miley's chicken wings &have been hooked since! We have legit been getting them to go atleast twice a week since discovering them. I would eat them every day if I could, but unfortunately hubby isn't quite on board with that idea lol.

Polyvore App

If you're a blogger or fashion junkie and you don't create badass collages on Polyvore, then you are totally missing out in life! The cool collage I made on the top of this post? Totally made it using Polyvore. This app is a total game changer for me & I so wish I would of actually downloaded it sooner! The obsession is real folks since my last few post have included something I created using Polyvore!
