Wow Thomas has been around for some decades. This brings back so many memories. My little brother was absolutely crazy over Thomas the Train. I think at one point he wanted to be a Conductor. LOL When we visited Day Out With Thomas we had so much fun.

I don't know what it is but my son absolutely hates Thomas with a passion. He won't even wear the PJ's that my mother in law bought him. I actually wrote a post about it the other day about it!! My brother's keep trying to re-gift an old childhood Thomas the train toy. They wrapped it up in PINK wrapping paper at Christmas time for him. It was hilarious watching him open it!!

Thankfully I managed to dodge the Thomas bullet (those trains are so expensive) but my boys would love to go to an event like this. I've heard its a great place for photos and other fun mementos...we typically just go to our favorite train themed restaurant or take the Metra when we need our train fix.

We took this train ride when it was in Michigan. It was such a fun day out, and Thomas coming through was the cherry on the sundae! The funniest thing though was that by the time the train ride was over, almost every single child (including mine...and my husband too!) was asleep. :)

What a fun event! They actually have a Day Out with Thomas where I live, and every year, kids are lined up around the block to ride on the train. I drove by the event last week and it was so cute seeing the kiddos in their train hats with huge smiles on their faces.
