Well I guess I should thank the weather gods for this horrible rain because it gave me time to knock another Pinterest pin off my project bucket list!! DIY metallic alphabet magnets!
My princess, just like every other child under 5 loves magnets! They can keep her occupied for a pretty long time lol.....Honestly, I CANNOT STAND that magnets are so god damn ugly... so when I saw this pin....omg!!!!! I just had to get around to it. The metallic paint made the tacky magnets into fabulous jewelry for your refrigerator (or dry erase board in our case since we have stainless appliances;-) )
Now Haylie can play with her magnets all she wants and even leave the out without me thinking about how they don't match anything and how I wanna hide them lol ;-)

This is a good way to reuse plastic letters. Spay it in metallic colors and get the more elegant letters.

What a great idea. Color is awesome, but gold is... well... gold!
Love this idea. I totally feel you with the whole ugly fridge magnets. My son has them and I think they are the ugliest thing ever. Yes all the different colors is good for the little ones and everything but ugh are they just hideous looking. I would definitely try this but he keeps losing letters so I really don't want to paint a partial alphabet but I love the idea.
