If you follow me on Instagram & Twitter, you saw a lot of these pictures last Sunday during the Cowboys game. My dorky, twitter obsessed self even got my hens retweeted by my favorite parody account @NotJJones ;-)
And then crazy busy life happened and a week later I finally have time to sit down & share my recipe with my bloggy friends :)
This was my first time cooking with a beer can & it came out so fantastic that I will be doing this again & again! Hope y'all enjoy this recipe as much as I do!

Definitely easy and delicious! Love that you said the hardest part was drinking half of each beer. I've never done beer can chicken, but really should as I received a tool to help make beer can chicken on the grill!

I've heard of beer can chicken, but I've never made it or had it before. Your version looks fantastic. I think I need to make this....my husband and I would both probably love it.

You had me at bacon, I honestly believe anything is at least enhanced a bit by the beauty that is bacon!

These look really great! I've only cooked with beer once but it made a nice, moist meat. I'll have to try this recipe soon!

What an amazing recipe. I am definitely going to make this one.
we do beer can chicken all the time! In fact...true story...maybe like 5 years ago on Memorial Day we were doing beer can chicken on the grill outside of my in laws house and they had dried cedar as their siding and I guess something flared up in the grill from the chicken and the fire came out the back of the grill and ended up catching the house on fire!!! Needless to say we didn't have beer can chicken that night but now it is our staple Memorial Day meal :)

These look delicious! Thank you for sharing the recipe. And I had to giggle at the pic in step 5. It looks like those little cornish hens are just sitting on the beer cans chilling out in the oven. haha!
