Ahhhhhh Fall!!!! I have such a love-hate relationship with this time of year! I love fall festivities. Hello pumpkin patches and Thanksgiving! Fall fashion and makeup is also my ultimate favorite to shop for, but ughh!!!! Living in Western New York, fall weather isn’t exactly that glamorous. Half of me wishes we could just skip this gloomy, cold & yes, sometimes snowy season and go right back to summer and all that glorious sunshine!

Since I’m not a weather god, and gloomy weather is here to stay, there really isn’t any point in whining about it. I mind as well focus on the fall fabulousness that does bring a big ole smile to my face such as all that Fall fashion and makeup I go gaga for!!!

Do a quick patch test to make sure you will get the results you want! Then place the color on your hair and let it sit for however long the directions state! Once you’re all finished with the coloring process, rinse the dye off using the conditioner provided, and poof! You’re hair will be looking mighty fine as long as you followed all the instructions in the package and followed all safety instructions!

Now, what y’all have been waiting for!!! My Fall Fashion Must Haves!!! Think of this as my version of Oprah’s Favorite things, fall fashion addition lol ;-)

These are the staples I suggest you rotate this fall. Use these suggestions and I promise you, EVERYONE you encounter will be eyeballing you and tossing nonstop complements at you. Nothing better than being the chicest gal in the room!!!

Glitter

Thats right, glitter!!! It was all over the runways and it’s on the shelves everywhere!!!!! Be ahead of the heard and start rockin a shimmery gold lip and even adding a few sparkles to your eye makeup! Perfect for a date night look or girls night out!

Eyeshadow

This is the time of year where a tan/brown/nude eye can definitely transform your look!!! The best part of tans and nudes is that you can rock that eye all day AND night!!! Socially acceptable!!! My favorite eye look when I’m working all day and want to head to happy hour without switching up my makeup!

Lips

Again, Browns, tans and nudes tend to rule the lip world during the fall, but if you’re feeling a tad bit more adventurous, go for a deep red or even a purple. I love a dark red lip! A gold shimmery gloss can also dress up a nude lip. Just brush a little ontop of your nude lip to add a little glam to your look!

Glow Kits!

Heading our with the girls?!?! Fall is the perfect time to add a little glow to your face!!! Use all those darker tans and browns!!! Fall is the perfect time to use those darker glow shades we tend to over look the rest of the year!

Nails

Plum nails are my all time favorite during the fall!!! Almost black, but with a purple tint!!! Totally chic!!! Dark red nails are also super fun to rock. Feeling a bit more traditional? Go for that nude nail. This is the time of year you will be thought of as being chic and not just safe when choosing to go “nude” since nude is “in”!

Shoes

If you live where there is warmth and sunshine this time of year, your shoe options are endless!!! If you’re up North like I am, we are kind of limited on what we can actually wear on our feet past that fabulous Insta photo! Heels might looks all sort of trendy, but they don’t mix well with rain and snow!

A strappy pair of flats will go a long way! I can’t go anywhere without getting nonstop complements when I wear mine! You will also want a pair of black low cut boots. They match everything!!!!! And they are totally chic! Two pairs of shoes you can wear in any type of weather conditions.

Fur

I am so happy fur is gracing us with its presence for another year!!!! Fur accents are so fun! And warm. Just make sure you opt for the faux fur! I’m a furbaby lover and faux is the way to go!

Velvet

Thats right, velvet!!!! This is a trend people either love or hate! I for one love it!!! So I have been rocking velvet for over a month now! Can’t get enough of it!

Zippers

The zipper trend is something that was taken right off of the runways!!!! Just a tad bit more normalized for every day wear. Zipper necks are totally in! Even zippers in shoes and sleeves!!!

Floral

Floral was in all summer long and thank you Fashion gods for bringing it into the fall!!!! I seriously can’t get enough of the flor trend. So pretty, feminine and chic!!!

Leather Leggings

Leather/pleather leggings are totally in!!! So fun to style with bulky sweaters!!!! If you were looking for a way to dres up your favorite sweater, leather leggings will do the trick!

Bulky Sweaters!!

It’s not fall without bulky sweaters!!! My all time favorite fall fashion must have item!!! So warm, cozy and totally chic!!!! Perfect for layering on those days where it’s winter in the morning and summer in the afternoon!!
