Nothing better than a Girls Night Out!!! The night I get to vent about my ridiculous life to my besties while tearing up the dance floor with a glass of bubbly in my hand! They might not happen that often anymore because #MomLife, but they are the one thing I will forever look forward to!
This right here was my pride and joy for many years!
Orlando is a goofy town where people move in and move out so fast that it can be extremely tough to make friends. By the time you finally get comfortable with your new friend it felt like they were already packing up their belongings and heading to their next destination in life. Orlando is a stepping stone for so many in the hospitality industry and once they climb up to the next level in their career field, it's peace out O-Town.
I went through a period where I was so depressed because I lacked real girl friends that I decided to make a meetup group for girls just like me. Fun yet very lonely because they lacked besties that lived close by. 
I founded The Orlando Girls Night Out Club in 2008 and within one year I had over 500 girls ready to hit up the town with me. We would have such large turn outs that eventually we had every promoter in Central Florida at our beck and call! Business owners wanted us at their events and would bribe us with everything from free VIP tables to free dinners for everyone if our large group would pose for social media photos with our meals. We were literally treated like night life royalty all because we were a large group of girls that wanted to have fun!
The bond I have with so many of these girls is incredible!!! I've made life long besties and a few were even bridesmaids in my wedding that threw me one heck of a bachelorette party! In 2011 and with over 1000 memebers, I ended up having to pass the Organizer torch to one of my best friends Rachel since I had to move to WNY. The group is still the success it was in my hay day with over 1,600 memebers. It's crazy how one lonely girl like myself came up with a random idea and it exploded into this type of success!!! 
Since a good ole Girls Night Out is what I know, I thought it would be fun to share with you my beauty prep-list! If you have a Girls Night Out planned sometime soon, you will definitely want to give my list a read!
1.Perfect Hair
You don't want to step out on the town with anything less than perfect hair! You are bound to take 1527919 photos to document the fact that every last one of you is indeed together, sans child, and at the same time, so be prepared!!! While browsing the aisles of Target during your shopping trip, grab that box of Keratin Color from Schwarzkopf

Besides my cat totally photobombing me, I think Silky Blonde suits me well!!! I started out with light blonde hair and Sillky Blonde totally toned it down to a more natural shade. I'm a natural dirty blonde, think dirty dish water ewww type color.... so my hair already has natural gold tones. So for me to use a box dye from Target just works for me and my hair.

2.Drink Plenty Of Water!!!
I know it can be super fun to sip on a cocktail while getting ready for the evenings festivities! Hello pregame. My advice however is to hold off on the drinks and sip on that H2O!! Chug it if you can. You might have to run to the bathroom a few times before you leave the house, but it will lower your chances of waking up with a major headache the next morning. You aren't 21 anymore so that glass of water or two before leaving the house can really do wonders for you. 
3. Load On The Makeup
I think this one is a given, but this is your reminder to glam yourself up!! Load on that makeup because you don't want to take a bad photo!!! Remember camera flash shines right through makeup. So don't be afraid to cake it on so you don't look bare faced in that group photo. Your Facebook page is counting on you to post a new profile pic, so don't disappoint. 
4. Charge Up That Cellphone
Yes, you will want to take 628290 photos with your phone! But most importantly you want your phone fully changed in case of any emergencies. Did you drink too much and need to call for a ride home? Or maybe you saw a creepo and need to call 911. I know, I'm being a total buzz kill and these types of things are not fun to think about, but please be prepared. You just never know. 
5. Waxing.
Get rid of all of that unwanted hair. I know us moms can get rather lazy when it comes to hair removal. Taking care of little ones all day does that to someone. However, nothing is more embarrassing than scrolling Facebook the next morning and noticing your bushy eyebrows in someone's photo. Let this be your friendly reminder to break out the wax and say peace out to those unwanted hairs! 
6. Make Sure You Smell Good
I can't tell you how many times I've left the house forgetting to put deodorant on. Thank god I'm not a stinky gal, but the pit stains after getting my workout on the dance floor ughhhh!!!! Let this be your reminder to not be like me and roll that deodorant on before leaving the house. 
7. Small Purse
Save the LV Neverful for Sunday Brunch and break out your favorite clutch or wristlet. Nothing worse than lugging a giant bag around with you all night. Plus you're san child, so you don't need to bring much with you. Phone, cash, credit card, lipgloss. That's it! And it all fits in that itty bitty bag! 
8. Self Tanner
Give yourself a nice golden glow before hitting the town. We all just look and feel better when tan! There is no denying it. So tan up and look extra fab! 
9. Face Mask
You know every Girls Night Out is pretty much a mini photoshoot. Give yourself a nice face mask before going out. Most masks close up your pores, giving you flawless and super smooth skin. Nothing better than looking like porcelain in those photos! 
10. Do Your Nails!!!
Do Them!!!! I know most of us are lucky to find time to even leave for a girls night in the first place so making a trip to the nail salon just isn't going to happen. Then paint them yourself. Can't paint without making a mess? Then buy a set of nails you can glue on right before you walk out that door for the night. Just think how pretty your Martini will look with a fresh set of nails holding it!

I JUST colored my hair at home after having it done in a salon forever. I saw this brand of haircolor on the shelf and now I wish I'd tried it. I wasn't familiar, so I passed it by. I will def. check it out next time.

Rarely go for a GNO anymore, more like lunches and dinners. We stopped getting wild ;) But definitely any big event means I need to top up the hair color and go to town with the make up and nails!

Oh man it's been so long since I've had a girls night. I need to make the time to go and be with my friends! It would be so refreshing. I do a girl's night out with my mom's group once a month. It's not as elaborate. It's literally japust dinner out at a restaurant we vote on, so we can have some time away from the kids while our husbands take on dad duty.
