Grilled Peaches

Finally! After months of freezing cold temperatures here in WNY/NWPA or what I like to call "Amish Antarctica", the weather gods have blessed us with warmth and sunshine!!! The best part about this glorious weather would have to be dusting off the grill and putting my grillmaster skills to the test by chef'ing up all those yummy grilling recipes I pinned all winter long. I can finally put all those grilling cravings to rest! WooHoo!

While in Erie over the weekend doing our Memorial Day shopping, hubby and I stopped at Giant Eagle to pick up all of our must have grilling supplies! Giant Eagle is the go-to place for all your summer grilling needs since you can conveniently pick EVERYTHING up at one place! No need to cruise around town in search of items at different stores when you can score them all in one stop at Giant Eagle!

One of our must-have items on our grilling shopping list was Giant Eagle's Certified Angus Beef Gourmet Burgers in bacon cheddar. Everything taste better loaded with bacon and cheese, so I'm sure you can only imagine how delicious these burgers taste! Always such a crowd pleaser at every summer BBQ we host! The term "you had me at bacon" comes up over and over at our BBQ's!

Another BBQ favorite would have to be Lemon Lemon Sparkling Lemonade! I don't know what it is about grilling, but nothing taste more refreshing than that first sip of lemonade after cracking the can open at the conclusion of grilling up that BBQ feast for your friends and family! Lemonade is definitely the taste of summer!

Everything is super easy to find at Giant Eagle as well! Head back to the butcher case to pick up your Giant Eagle Certified Angus Beef Gourmet Burgers in bacon cheddar.

And what's a BBQ without snacks?! You will definitely want to pick up a bag Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies in the cookie section! A great snack adults and kids alike will enjoy!

I Scream You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream!!! Don't forget that Ice Cream. Head to the freezer section and pick up that tub of Breyers Ice Cream!

Since no BBQ is complete without ice cream, I thought it would be fun to share a BBQ favorite of mine! Grilled Peaches! Grilled Peaches give you a fun new way to serve your Breyers Ice Cream! So next time you're serving ice cream for your guest, ditch the cones and toss those Peaches on the grill. Your guest will love them.

INGREDIENTS

Breyers Ice Cream. Vanilla or Butter Pecan If You Like Nuts!
Peaches
Honey

Slice your Peaches in half.

Scoop out the pits. Then widen the hole in the peach so you can place a small scoop of ice cream in the middle.

Grill your Peaches. Grill until the tops are slightly softened when you touch them. No need to move your Peaches at all while grilling, unless you're a grill master wannabe like myself obsessed with perfect grill marks ;-)

Take your Peaches off of the grill. Drizzle with honey.

Scoop your Breyers Ice Cream & enjoy!
