Mermaid Sensory Bin

Have you ever had something turn out so fabulously awesome that you just had to showcase it to the world?!?! That's sort of what happened with this here Mermaid Sensory Bin!

I had an opportunity to share a deal in exchange for some loot on my instagram account courtesy of Crayola the other day. My daughter was to pose with the sale sign for Crayola Play Sand at our local Walmart for a photo opp. We were to then buy a bag and then leave.

Once we got home though, that's when the magic happened!!! We really didn't have anything to pour this Sand in, so we used a storage bin from my craft room. My daughter wanted blue for mermaid water, so blue Sand it was for her for her Mermaid Sensory Bin!

We then tossed in a few of her Sand toys, fish bath toys and of course a mermaid she had laying around and bam! We had Mermaid Sensory Bin awesomeness!!!

Since everything came out so awesome, I HAD to go grab my phone and snag a few pictures!! My daughter wanted to play, so no time for a DSLR photo shoot lol... but yeah, the Mermaid Sensory Bin came out so cute, it just HAD to go on the blog since it was Internet attention-worthy ;-)

The Crayola Play Sand is currently only $6 something at Walmart, so the Mermaid Sensory Bin doesn't cost that much to create. The Sand comes in multiple colors as well. So if your kiddo is more into pink, green or purple, they are in luck!

Honstly, I feel bad it never crossed my mind to make a mini Sand Sensory Bin before since my daughter has been OBSESSED!!!! Best $6 spent this summer I swear!!!!

So fun, we even got dad to come out and play!!!! Nothing better than spending quality sandcastle making time together that's for sure!!!

So if you're sick of hearing "I'm Bored", have a mermaid lover child and a spare few bucks, Crayola Play Sand is where it's at!!! Keep your child entertained these last few weeks of summer and out of your hair ;-)
