I have been compensated by Johnson's® Baby for this post; however, I am sharing my own thoughts. All opinions are my own. No better feeling than counting down the days to that fabulous family vacation you have planned!!! An escape from every day life and routine is just what the doctor ordered! Unfortunately before you can get to that dreamy destination, the family has to get all packed up and ready to go. With the ridiculous prices the airlines now charge for checking luggage, the days where you would just throw everything your family owns in a suitcase since luggage was free are far behind us! If you're family is anything like mine, we try to pack strategically and as light as possible! The less money we spend on checked baggage, the more we have to spend doing something totally epic on our trip! One way you can cut down on luggage is figuring out how to Minimize your family's toiletries! There is absolutely no reason each of you needs to haul your own toiletry bag with you! Pack one bag the whole family can share and cut down on that luggage!!!! Below I have all the toiletry items every in the family can use and thing you definitely don't want to forget at home! 1. Body Wash Let's be real! Those itty bitty hotel soaps just don't cut it when you travel with your family! One squirt and the soap is gone, so you're going to want to bring your own body wash with you. To cut down on your family's toiletries, keep that super fruity, totally girly body wash at home and pick up a bottle of Johnson's® Baby No More Tears Wash! With a neutral scent, it's the perfect body wash for the entire family! The NO MORE TEARS® formula is also as gentle to the eyes as pure water & with it being Dermatologist-tested, ophthalmologist-tested, and hypoallergenic, so everyone from the newborn to grandma can use it! I'm sure you are going to have a long list of supplies you need to pick up for you upcoming vacation, so while you're out on that Walmart run, head on over to the baby section and pick up that bottle of Johnson's® Baby No More Tears Wash and all the other Johnson's® Baby products you might need! 2.Shampoo Just like the body wash, that sample sized shampoo bottle isn't going to cut it for the family as well! Don't forget to pack that bottle of shampoo for when the hotel shampoo runs out on kiddo number ones shower! Again, when packing for the family, keep the shampoo as neutral as can be! Johnson's® Baby, again is a very safe route to take since it works marvelously on everyone's hair! 3. Lotion I don't know what it is about flying, but I swear my skin will go from silky smooth to as dry and rough as can be! Then add all that chlorine from swimming and it's safe to say your skin is now a total hot mess! Don't forget to pack your lotion, and again go neutral since I'm sure dad has no interest in smelling like a gardenia. Johnson's® Baby AGAIN makes a fabulous option when picking a lotion the whole family can use! 4. Sunscreen This is an item that SUCKS to forget!!!!Have you ever had to pick up a tube from the hotel gift shop?! Pure robbery are what those prices are! You can buy a whole case for how much those stores want for a mini bottle. Don't be like me and remember to pack that sunscreen and go with a high proof that everyone can use! Just because you went tanning before your trip doesn't mean your 5 year old wants to fry using a 5SPF! Your wallet will thank you for it! 5. Deodorant Don't be the stinky family and pack that deodorant! A great way to minimize your family's toiletries is to buy one can of spray deodorant everyone can use! It doesn't sound like much, but when traveling with multiple people, multiple sticks add up and can take up a lot of room! One spray can saves you valuable packing space! 6. Nude Makeup Shades A great way to minimize your family's toiletries is to pack nude makeup shades! Nudes match EVERYTHING!!!! Save that pink lipstick and that bulky new pallete for a night out with the girls and pack your favorite nude staples that will match your entire vacation wardrobe! You will save a ton of space! 7. Razors Unfortunately, I don't have a space saving hack for shaving, so you will all need to bring your own razors! Nothing worse than unwanted hairs peaking through when you're rocking that new swimsuit, so pack those razors! 8. Toothpaste & Tooth Brushes An obvious thing one should pack, but here is your reminder to pack those tooth brushes!!! 9. Q-Tips A must pack item for all of you with kiddos!!!! Especially if you're traveling off to a beach. Save yourself from potential ear issues by bringing a travel sized pack of q-tips and drying your kids ears after they have been in the water! 10. Chapstick & Anti-Bacterial Nothing worse than waking up with chapped lips after you had an incredible day in the sun the day before and not having chapstick. Bring one along, and again, make sure it's a neutral flavor. I'm sure not everyone wants to rock glitter lips! While you're packing that chapstick, throw in some anti bacterial into your toiletrie bag. Keep your family's hands nice and germ free! You don't want to bring an unwanted sickness home with you as a souvenir. 11. Facial Wipes I try to keep liquid items to a minim to avoid anything exploding during travel! Swap that bottle of facial cleanser for a pack of facial wipes! 12. Bandaids, Tweezers, Fingernail Clippers Bandaids can be a lifesaver after a day of walking!!! Cover that blister right up with a bandaid and your foot is good for another trek around the amusement park the next day! Tweezers are nice to have for emergencies & fingernail clippers seem to always be an item someone ends up needing on a trip! 13. Meds This might be the most important item you pack!!!!! Whether your kiddos nonstop fighting, you drank one too many at the pool bar, or the nonstop go go go resulted in your massive headache, be prepared and pack that bottle of meds! You will thank me later when you wake up, your head is killing you and you realize YES!!!! you don't need to make a run to a store because you came prepared for this very moment. Since I love you all, I decided to make packing for your family super easy by providing you with a free toiletryPrintable! Download below, print and start checking those items off! This is a great packing list. For extended trips, I generally save myself the trouble and buy my items when I get there, but when I go on short trips, I pack my own items.

We always share our toiletries and most of the times we don't even bring them with us - we just grab what's in the hotel and then pick up what's missing in a local drugstore because they are usually so affordable and you get to try some new ones too:) x

What a great way to minimize space when you travel. It's funny because my mom never bought any other shampoo besides Johnson's, even up through me leaving the house LOL.

I like this list because those are the items I really pack when I travel besides the first 3. Although I pack J&J always for my kids, 'cause you know their skin are more sensitive that ours. I pack the smallest size I could get that would be enough for the whole trip. :)

We try to pack as many travel sized items as we can when we are traveling. To me, it is not only cheaper to take them on a trip rather than to buy, but you get more of what you need when you arrive and you don't have to worry about running out.
