Can you believe it?!?! It’s almost time to start talking back to school. I swear summer just started & here we are saying peace out to July! If you’re one of my southern readers, then your kids head back in a week or two! Craziness!!! To get myself into the all things back to school mode, I thought it would be fun to make a Ruler Picture Frame! My daughter is in a 3 to 1 classroom, so she will have the same teacher she had last year. Since we already know her and my daughter is pretty fond of her, she can give her this nice frame on her first day of school!!! SUPPLIES• 4 Rulers ( they are 50 cents at Dollar General) • Super Glue • Ribbon • Scissors • Printable (click below to print for free) ![]()
Take your four rulers and use your handy dandy super glue to glue them together. You can use your printable as a guide on where to glue your rulers. While your rulers are drying away, take your spool of ribbon and cut a live long enough to use as a hook to hang your frame. Super Glue your ribbon onto your Ruler Picture Frame. The ribbon does stick instantly, so know ahead of time where you want your ribbon to be placed. Next, take your printable & either glue or tape it onto your Ruler Picture Frame. & just like that, you have a Ruler Picture Frame! Perfect to give to a teacher for a gift, or to even frame those school pictures when you receive them in the fall!

Is it really back-to-school already? I guess school starts later here, after Labour Day. This is a nice little project, especially for little kids.

What an adorable idea and so easy and inexpensive to make. I sure my little niece would love to help with this project and hang it in her room.

Such a cute school themed picture frame. I think it would make a great teacher gift. If my kids were still young, I would have made something like that for them to hang on their bedroom walls.
