Last Chrismas the Lil'Princess & I attempted footprint ornaments for all our family members & omgggg.... It was seriously the hardest thing I have ever done!!!!! Babies do not & I repeat DO NOT want anything to do with making pretty ornaments!!!! All u people on Pinterest that post these amazing baby ornaments & claim your child was awake & happy to do this.... I do not believe you and don't believe your child actually let u make them......
& well Anyway lol.....
since I had spent $$$ on all the supplies, I ended up finishing them while she was sleeping. Put her to bed in her Fisher Price cradle rocker & slapped some paint on her foot & completed the task! She had no idea it even happened lol....
Well this year I told myself I wouldn't do such a project again until I felt Haylie was old enough to do it on her own..... And of course what happens?!? Pretty much every person that recieved and ornament last year asked about what fabulous crafty gift Haylie would giving this year. My sister even posted crafts she saw on Pinterest onto my Facebook page hoping to get a Haylie version 🔫🔫🔫 so I went to Walmart & the dollar store & bought some paint, wine glasses & wine glass boxes & figured if the craft doesn't work out atleast I have some extra wine glasses since people love to break mine 😂😂😂😂
Well the craft actually sorta worked out! I'm still kind of in shock about it.... I strapped Haylie into her high chair and she actually let me make the handprint glasses with her! We just had to take a break inbetween every 1-2 glasses and let her finger paint... Then we would grab another glass & continue :):)

Oh my goodness, I just love how those wine glasses came out! I wish my boys were little enough to do this still.

What a cute idea! I've seen people do handprint ornaments but never wine glasses! I can't wait to have kids (or nephews and nieces) to do cute stuff like this with.

This is a nice Christmas project that everyone in the family can do. You can also put this as a display and in a few years, everyone will love and get a good laugh at what everyone's done.

This is such an adorable idea - and a great gift idea! Plus, it's easy enough that I'll actually attempt it!

What a cute idea! Makes a nice keepsake too! Will the paint come off when it's washed?

LOL, guess what? I don't believe those people who post on Pinterest either. It's like.... "I have a toddler. He's not sitting still to make beautiful, detailed crafts". lol

What kind of paint did you use so washable off the baby but not the glass!
