Yes, it's true folks. I'm THAT obsessed with the #InstaFamous phenomenon know as #PinkDrink. You're probably sick and tired of me going on and on about how deliciousness this concoction is, but I just HAD to do a copycat recipe! I promise after I hit publish of this recipe, it will be the last time you hear #PinkDrink out of me ;-) Not sure what I'm talking about? Check out my This Is The Starbucks #PinkDrink post from the other day to get yourself up to speed on this beyond deliciousness trend! You could even be a total rockstar and give me a follow on Insta & check out my #PinkDrink photos as well ;-) @kourtneelynne INGREDIENTS
Step One Slice up your strawberries Step Two Add the strawberries, sugar, white grape juice, honey and green coffee bean powder to a saucepan. Bring the concoction to a boil. Boil for about ten minutes, stirring often so the liquid does not burn. As you can see it really will boil down to a jam-like mixture. It just takes 10 minutes;-) Step Three Pour the strawberry mixture through a fine mesh strainer, capturing the liquid in a pan or bowl. Gently push the liquid out of the strawberries with a spoon. Step Four After you have squeezed the liquid out of the strawberries, let the mixture cool. Step Five take a few sliced up strawberries and place them in your cup Step Six Place a few ice cubes in your cup Step Seven Add the cooled syrup. This part really is up to your taste! I like ALOT of strawberry flavor so I added quite a bit. Step Eight Then pour in your coconut milk. The white dots you see come from the coconut milk I used. And add some strawberries ontop for garnish. Ta-Da!!! There you have it! Your very own #PinkDrink made in your very own home. It is quite the process, but honestly the home version taste so much better since you can tweek it to your own liking :)

I'm not a Starbucks person, but this could be something I can get on board with. Can the 1/2 of sugar be omitted especially with the honey??

I die for that drink. Unfortunately it contains so much sugar that I can not fit it in my diet. But maybe I can try it on my next cheatmeal. Yupppiiiii! Great post!
