 Anyone else have their kiddos home from school all week for "February Break"? I'm usually all about these types of breaks from school because that means a trip somewhere super far away from WNY! Even if that trip is something as simple as visiting my parents.  Unfortunately for us this year, my hubby started a new job meaning his 4 weeks of vacation time he had before, well let's just say he has to work his butt off to get back to that at his new job. His vacation time was the only bad thing about his new gig, but he's way more happy with his new job, so I will just have to be more selective with my trip planning and suck up this cabin fever. We have a potential BIG trip in May for his 30th birthday, so I will just count down to that in the meantime ;-)  Since my daughter is home all week I decided to make and print as many Printable things as possible. Just like her mommy, she rather color the day away than play out in the cold. So we will save outdoor play for the end of the week when the temps reach 60 and stay inside and color and do word searches like this fabulous one in the meantime! Enjoy!

Thank you so much. Abby is so bored, she's getting into everything and just broke an antique dish I've had from my great great grandma. This ought to settle her down.

Mine had the day off yesterday from school and were so bored. This will be great for the next day off. Every Thursday, I have to progress monitor my kids in their reading fluency. This means that I need to set them up to do something independent so I can pull them each 1:1 to do their one-minute reading. Word searches have been a huge help in keeping them busy during that time! I may use this on Thursday this week! 2/21/2017 02:46:59 pm

How cute I love stuff like this to print and share with my classroom. Most kids don't know about the holidays and this is a great way to start a discussion.

Gotta love a good printable for a cold, dreary day! We are hitting the movies tomorrow (Lego Batman) to help break up the week. I too can't wait for the 60 degree temps this week!

This is a great idea. I will print these (word searches) for my nephews. I try to use items such as there to keep them occupied during the summer. And they are oblivious to the fact that they are learning new words.

Word search increased vocabulary and a great indoor game for the kids. I love that printable worksheet and I will look for more of its kind for my niece.

We love St. Patricks day at our house! We really have fun with it. It's my favorite to celebrate the obscure holidays. This would be fun!

We used to have a February break, and we'd always go to Walt Disney World. But they cancelled it this year! Wah! Your word search is really cute, and a great idea. :)
