Haylie & I did it again! Another random activity came out wayyyy cuter than I imagined so I just had to post it for y'all! Swear some of my best work lately is the unplanned stuff! I spend hours a week trying to plan fabulosness to share with y'all and it's the stuff I didn't plan at all that works the best. Or shall I say Haylie's? Pretty impressive considering a 3 year old was incharge of the rhinestones!!!
My all time favorite color is "Tiffany" & Haylie's favorite activity is stickering things up, so this year we decided to combine our favorites & rhinestone-sticker up some "Tiffany" colored eggs.
To make the dye mix 5 drops of blue and 4 drops of green into a cup of vinegar. Don't be fooled by the weird green color the dye appears. I totally dipped paper towels into the dye to make sure the dye came out "Tiffany".
Thankfully Pinterest helped with this and it was the same dye ratio as if you were to make a "Tiffany" colored frosting :)
Just look at this vibrant coloring!!!! No editing besides cropping with this photo, so what you see is what you will get. Just be careful when it comes to soaking your eggs in the dye. As you can see above, if you leave them in a little too long, the eggs obviously get darker. Wish I could tell you how long to let the eggs soak, but I swear each egg was different. Some took about 2 minutes. Others about 5! Then others turned dark within a minute. I'm guessing there is a biology type of explanation for this, but I'm not a scientist and can't tell you why this phenomenon happens!
Ta-Da!!!!! So sparkly!!!! So pretty!!!! So Tiffany!!!!
Hope y'all have a sparkly Easter!!!

I love how you said TADA. It does look really pretty, so so pretty. I kinda wanna do that with my child now and have it decorated just like that.
These are totally cute! Unfortunately I have two boys and one girl, so no Tiffany eggs for me! I just don't have the patience to make these different kinds of eggs and making special ones with one kid isn't going to happen. I would be all over this if I had ideas for the boys!
