I have been compensated by JOHNSON'S® Baby for this post; however, I am sharing my own thoughts. All opinions are my own. Let's face it, road trips with kids will never be an easy task. The days where we could pack an hour before leaving & still manage to get our luggage loaded, fill up on gas, grab a few snacks & down that pre-road trip breakfast since we were actually out of the house before breakfast cut-off. And still make it out of town on time. Long gone! However, just because we now have an army of tiny humans dictating our road trips, it doesn't mean those trips need to be the nightmare our favorite sitcoms have us believing. With a little bit of planning on our part, those road trips can go rather smoothly! Here are a few Traveling With Kids ~ Mommy Must Haves to make your next road trip a little less stressful. 1. JOHNSON'S® Bedtime® I already know what you are thinking, what does JOHNSON'S® Bedtime® do with traveling? The answer is simple! How many times have you arrived to your hotel & your child is bouncing off the walls because they are somewhere new? They just have to run around and explore everything, even if it’s way past their bedtimes. Calm your child down with a nice relaxing bubble bath using JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® baby bath followed by JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® baby lotion! With a bath using JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME®baby bath, a gentle massage using JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME® baby lotion, and a few minutes of quiet time, you can let your kiddo relax & drift off after a long day exploring their new environment. Make bathtime a gentle and calming time, with NATURAL CALM® essences that blend aromas to soothe your little one! JOHNSON'S® Bedtime® Overview Clinically proven routine helps baby fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer* •Releases NATURAL CALM® essences—a special blend of gentle and calming aromas •NO MORE TEARS® formula is as gentle to the eyes as pure water •Dermatologist-tested and hypoallergenic •Formulated to keep baby’s skin feeling soft Walmart! Discover the best value on JOHNSON'S® Bedtime® products for your family at one of my favorite places to shop, Walmart. One of my favorite perks of shopping at Walmart is the Walmart Pick-Up service! Living in a small town, not many stores have caught on to the store pick-up trend & being a busy mom on the go, especially the day before a road trip? Walmart Pick-Up Service has saved the day many times! Shopping in person is more your thing? Just head to the baby section of your local Walmart and toss those JOHNSON'S® Bedtime® products into your cart! The fabulous news is, whether you shop online or in person, you will get to enjoy those awesome Walmart low prices!!! 2. Bathroom Caddy Place items your little one is constantly asking for in one location. The bathroom caddy! My daughter is always hungry! She’s always thirsty. She’s always bored! So I keep all those items and a few diapers for when we stop at a rest stop handy for those bathroom breaks all in one central place, her bathroom caddy! 3. Mini Plastic Cereal Bins I’m not sure about your child, but mine makes messes 24/7! A great way to avoid vacuuming your car floor is placing snacks in a mini plastic cereal bin! They can drop the thing as many times as they like and all the crumbs stay inside that bin! The mini plastic cereal bins also fit right into that bathroom caddy! Your kid can just open the lid and snack away, mess free! Anything that helps keep things nice and tidy earns a spot on my Mommy Must Haves list! 4. Baking Sheets! Yes, you read that correctly. Baking Sheets! Baking Sheets make the best travel tables!!! Your little one can now do all those table top activities they do at home, in the car! 5. Cheap Coloring Books I love stocking up on cheap coloring books when we travel!!!! When those tablets die, Coloring books make a great entertainment backup!! Those baking sheet tables will also come in handy once the crayons come out. 6. Tablets This Mommy must have item really is a no-brainer, remember to bring those tablets!!!! Download as many free apps as possible and your child will be entertained for hours!!! 7. Chargers & Headphones Don’t forget to pack those chargers!!!! Nothing worse than having to buy a new one at a gas station at a ridiculously high price because you forgot your charger at home. Headphones will also save your own ears from whatever background nursery rhyme your child’s tablet is blasting on repeat. 8. Your Little Ones Least Favorite Drink This little tip will save you a few potty breaks & definitely earns its spot on the Mommy Must Haves list!!! If you pack your little ones favorite juice, they will chug and chug and pee and pee! Pack your child’s least favorite drink, that way they are only sipping away when they are thirsty and not because they are bored! 9. Seat Back Car Organizers Limited car space?! Bring all that kiddo entertainment, without taking up that valuable space by snapping a seat back car organizer in your car! Let your child load it with their favorite toys for hours and hours of fun!!! Let’s Chat!!!

I never thought to use a bathroom caddy like that, but it's brilliant, mama! I am going to use that hack for sure the next time we take a road trip.

The Johnson's Bedtime line brings back so many wonderful memories since I used it when all three of my kids were little. That calming scent always put them right to sleep!

That drink tip is genius! How many potty breaks have we taken on road trips? Too many to count. Snacks are okay, drinks are debatable.

I am going to pass this information along to my daughter in law. She was just saying how she needed a system for the children when she's traveling

I love the idea of the bathroom caddy to keep in between the kids in the backseat (and all the stuff you packed inside). I laughed out loud with the tip about only bringing a LEAST favorite drink. Haha, I need to do that for MYSELF and not just the little ones. Way too many bathroom breaks on my roadtrips! lol

My daughter tends to get really bored when traveling! I really like the idea of seat back car organizer that way she can take more things with her to the car and it will be all organized! Love the drink tip too!
