So I sat here for awhile trying to think of a non bragging way to tell y'all about the awesome Phillips Hue Lighting the fabulous people over at Best Buy sent over for review, but there really isn't a way to do it lol.... This lighting really is the coolest thing ever & I love it!!!! So I'm so very sorry in advance if I sound like I'm bragging, there is just no other way to explain how much awesomeness I was sent without, well bragging lol! Best review gig EVER!!!!

I totally wasn't lying when I said so much awesomeness!!! Just look at this!!!! Not only did they send me the Phillips Hue Starter Kit, they also threw in the Phillips Hue Go & to top it off a NETGEAR ROUTER (every bloggers dream router)!!!! The nerd girl inside was totally geeking out when I opened this box of goodies!

Let's start out talking the Phillips Hue Go!

The week this package came I was literally dying! I had the flu & was seriously the most miserable person to be around. My hubby hates sick people so whenever I'm sick he's always like go lock yourself up in the bedroom lol. I am the opposite when I'm sick though and love being around people for comfort so we always end up arguing about this before I just pass out into a NyQuil induced coma.

So when this light came it kinda gave me something to be excited about since I could bring this portable light up to my bedroom and make my room look sexy, even if I was feeling the complete opposite lol. Hubby was happy because no sick people in the living room & my nerdy self was happy because I had a new electronic to play with! It was a win win for us!!!

Isn't this light fantastic?!?! You can seriously set the mood in your house to anything you want! Since I was sick and drowning myself in lavender scented everything for relaxation, I was totally digging the purple! The light actually has a permanent place in my bedroom because idk.... Let's move on to the Phillips Hue Starter Kit! This set can be screwed into any light fixture that takes an ordinary sized light bulb! Before I even got accepted for this gig, I already had it in my head that these would look amazing in my kitchen since we have lights that screw into the sealing. Plus being the total foodie that I am, the kitchen is my favorite room in the house, so some bad *ss lighting would be pretty sweet in there!

And sweet it was! Now if I want to cook in pinkish purple lighting? I can do so! Green? Why not! If I'm feeling boring I can always just use the normal lighting setting! I feel like my house is so high tech thanks to this nifty lighting!

The first step in all of this fabulousness is making sure you have a great wifi connection! Thanks to Best Buy sending over a Netgear Router, I now have the best of the best when it comes to wireless in my house! Perfect to run my Phillips Hue Lighting on and to finally be able to blog poolside in the summer because my house really is awful when it comes to cell reception and wifi reach. Even though there is snow on the ground here in Antarctica (WNY) I did go outside and test the router reach & indeed I can now work outdoors! Thanks for the added bonus Best Buy! I love you!
